control your pension

It’s never too early to start saving for retirement. Whether you’re looking for a pension for yourself, your directors or your staff, we can help you make the right choice.

Pensions have changed enormously in recent years. Legislation has simplified pension funding and brought increased flexibility and choice. Even so, a pension remains one of the most tax efficient ways to save for retirement.

We’ll help you structure a plan to meet your future income and capital requirements, or set up a scheme that meets the needs of your workforce.

We’ll work with you to help you decide the best investment strategy for your circumstances. And as you go through different lifestages, we’ll help you review your pension to make sure it stays on track to meet your income goals.

We work with a range of carefully selected pension providers to offer:

  • stakeholder and group personal pension plans
  • trustee schemes
  • retirement plans
  • drawdown plans
  • annuities
  • transfer plans (including Section 32s)

RSM Tenon Group SIPP

A Self-Invested Personal Pension is another way to save for retirement. With a SIPP, you can choose your own investments rather than only having the choice of the investments a pension company offers you.

Self-investment lets you to choose the funds and investments you want. These can still include funds from the pension company as well as unit trusts, open-ended investment companies (OEICs), investment trusts and other assets such as commercial property.

You could buy many of these investments direct from a fund manager. But by combining all of these investments into a pension, you gain tax relief on your contribution and your assets are easier to manage as they're all in one place.

A SIPP may be an option for you if:

  • you already have a significant personal pension fund
  • you are eligible for a transfer to a personal pension, or
  • you are planning to build up substantial funds in the future

Chat to us. We can work through the options with you.

Please remember benefits are not guaranteed and the value of investments may go down as well as up.
